     One of the largest companies in Dve Mogili Municipality is “Velikovi – DM” Ltd. – baking and confectionery production. The company offers a wide range of sugar products - wafers, biscuits, etc. It produces salt sticks with three different flavors - salt, olive and pizza, which are a little pleasure in package. The company has strong positions on the Bulgarian market. Velikovi Ltd. also exports its production to the countries from the European Union.

     Organika – Bulgaria Ltd. is part of the company Organika S.A. Poland - an international group with 25-years traditions and experience on the European market. It includes 10 companies producing soft polyurethane foam from Poland, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Russia, Ukraine, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Romania and Belarus. Jockey Ltd.

     The story of the company Jockey Ltd. begins with its founding on 1 October 1997. It was established after the privatization of the Municipal enterprise Druzba inpeks – Dve Mogili. The company not only preserved the production of the enterprise, but also increased the number of its employees. Its manager Dragomir Damyanov is the majority owner. Jockey Ltd. is specialized in producing top men's and women's clothing. It is the only representative of Bulgaria in the manufacture of jockey clothing for horse riding / riding breeches, tournament shirts, jackets and other accessories/. The company’s success was due to the whole team, said its manager Dragomir Damyanov. Besides its main activity, the management team of Jockey Ltd.-Dve Mogili is a major sponsor of various local events - mainly for children and adolescents in the field of sport, culture, folklore and arts. Its staff consists of about 150 persons at the moment. It is equipped with modern machinery for clothes production entirely for the foreign market. The main workshop is located in the town of Dve Mogili. There are 100 sewing machines, embroidery machine, sawing machines, ironing machines and other specialized equipment.

F+S Agro - Ruse

     The company F+S Agro - Ruse purchased a storehouse for agricultural preparations and fertilizers in the town of Dve Mogili, which is the major base in the Northeastern Bulgaria. There are also preparations for plant protection stored in it. It has a special status and it is one of the few in Bulgaria, which meets all the requirements of the current operative legislation regarding environmental protection and safety of working with the preparations for plant protection.

     The canning factory in the village of Buzovets, which had very good positions on the markets in Eastern Europe and Bulgaria for many years and was providing a lot of jobs, is not functioning at the moment. It was purchased by private investors and is no longer managed by the municipality.

     The enterprise Zarneni Hrani Bulgaria (Cereals Bulgaria) in the town of Dve Mogili after the privatization of municipal property maintained its main activity of purchasing and storing grain with 11 employees. The material base is the same, but it is not fully functioning.

Wine Cellar

     There is a renovated Wine Cellar for the production of broached and bottled wine in the town of Dve Mogili. The existing winery was sold to private investors. Its base is in good condition, new investments have been made and new technologies are introduced.

     The commercial services for the citizens in Dve Mogili Municipality are chiefly performed by the private sector and 8 cooperatives with about 70 employees. There is a municipal market in the town of Dve Mogili and temporary markets on certain market days in the villages. There are also over 160 private companies with different industrial and economic activities in the municipality.

     Owners of motor vehicles are serviced by 5 petrol stations: 3 stations in the town of Dve Mogili, 1 station in the village of Katselovo and 1 station in the village of Batishnitsa. There are 2 gas stations –in the town of Dve Mogili and in the village of Batishnitsa.

     The presence of industrial production, which is not connected with agriculture, diversifies the municipal economics and makes it more resistant to seasonal, cyclic and other risks.
