On the territory of Dve Mogili Municipality there are specified the following types of waste:

I. HOUSEHOLD WASTE

     1.According to their generating sources wastes could be divided into several groups:

• From households - the highest percentage
• Institutional waste
• From commercial activity
• From industrial activity
• From common urban sources / dirt from cleaning streets and public places/
• Other sources

     2. According to their composition wastes could be:

• Paper
• Textile
• Plastics
• Glass
• Metals
• Food waste, green waste and other similar wastes
• Other sources

     The average annual amount of household waste is about 2465 tons.

ІІ. CONSTRUCTION WASTE

     Construction waste consists of unwanted materials left aside after new construction, renovation and reconstruction of existing buildings and structures within the Municipality. Average about 44 tons.

ІІІ. HAZARDOUS WASTE

     Currently, hazardous wastes were collected by the Municipality and stored in concrete containers in the village of Batishnitsa: The total quantity of hazardous waste is 2912 tons.
Among them:

IV. PRODUCTION WASTE

      The company “Zhokey” Ltd. – Dve Mogili for clothes production is the only one that releases industrial wastes within the territory of the Municipality - about 10 tons per year, which are being transported to the regulated landfill.
The activities for waste treatment are as follows:

• collecting waste
• transporting waste to definite places
• waste disposal at the regulated landfills

      In Dve Mogili Municipality there are 20 regulated landfills designated by a Commission as follows:
